Over 1,200 people joined us at our June 20th Block Party to kick off a year of celebrations. This truly special event brought together residents, volunteers, community partners, local leaders, and alumni of our Culinary Arts Training program to mark our important milestone. We had delicious food, games, music, exhibits, free giveaways, and more! Thank you to all the attendees for celebrating with us and making the event such a memorable occasion!
Thank you to our sponsors who made the day possible: Subaru, Cooper, City of Camden, Virtua, The Free Books Project, Sharing Excess, Center for Aquatic Sciences, Camden Department of Health & Human Services, Camden Fire Department, Camden County Police, Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society, Camden YMCA, LAEDA, Food Bank of South Jersey, Philadelphia 76ers, Heart & Soul Band, Campbell’s, Camden Special Services District, Maria Station Cafe, Foreign Flavors, Chef Bu’s Catering
More events and volunteer opportunities are on the horizon as we continue to celebrate this milestone year and all we have accomplished. We hope you’ll participate in as many offerings as you can as we blaze into an inspiring future together.
