Meal & Outreach Program

The heart of our organization, the Meal & Outreach Program serves over 350,000 meals each year.

Dining Room Service

Open Monday through Friday from 3:15-5:00 PM, guests are welcomed into our comfortable, restaurant-style dining room and served a free, hot, nutritious meal. Meals are served at beautifully set tables and can also be taken to go if preferred. As many as 700 daily guests are served and also receive a take-home bag of food along with their hot meal.

Every Saturday, to-go meals are available from 12:00-1:00 PM.

Free Groceries

Groceries, including fresh produce and pantry staples, are available to every guest at our free Mini Market Stand, located in the CK Pavilion from 2:45-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Outreach Services

Many Camden residents can’t get to our dining room, especially children and seniors. We prepare and deliver meals and groceries regularly to homeless service organizations, youth programs, and low-income senior citizen residential facilities. Over 36,000 meals and 33,700  bags of groceries are delivered annually, providing critical nutritional support.

Food Waste Management

While many people don’t have enough to eat, food waste across the nation is on the rise. Up to 40% of the good, safe food produced in America never makes it to people’s plates (Feeding America).

We partner with grocery stores, restaurants, and farms to provide more food to those who need it most while reducing the amount of food that goes to waste and fills landfills.

We pass on any donated food we can’t use to other organizations and individuals that can use it.

Food scraps from our meal production are donated for animal feed, and composting.
