From our humble beginnings, we are now 47 staff members strong, including Ty and Cait, our most recent hires to our leadership team:
Tajira (Ty) Martin, MJ, Director of Human Capital
Ty joined the CK team in January 2023, as our first ever Human Resources Manager. She has since been promoted to Director of Human Capital. Ty brings a breadth of human resources experience and expertise as well as operations and government contract management. She holds a degree in accounting and a master’s degree in jurisprudence from Widener University. Ty leads all our Human Resource functions and supports a positive culture within the CK team. She also works with our Culinary Arts students and alumni helping them build winning resumes and hone their interview skills, while developing employer partnerships. Cait O’Donnell, MSW, Director of Social Services and Data Management
Our newest team member, Cait, joined CK in May. Cait oversees our social services programs and partners, manages and supports our case managers, leads our program evaluation and quality assurance efforts, and enhances our data systems and reporting processes to improve guest outcomes. She’s lived and worked in Africa and the Middle East and most recently worked in programs supporting unaccompanied migrant children and African and Caribbean immigrant clients. She oversaw social services programs and led quality assurance efforts. Her background in social work, data systems, and program planning is helping us improve the way we deliver services and run our programs to better serve our guests.
